In one of my previous articles, Getting Started with Semantic Kernel, I’ve touch based on Semantic Kernel ,an open-source development kit that helps you easily build AI agents and integrate the latest AI models.

Similarly, Microsoft has AutoGen, an open-source programming framework for building AI agents.

Now, Microsoft has combined both into a single offering called the Agent Framework

What is Agent Framework:

Agent framework is a comprehensive multi-language framework for building, orchestrating, and deploying AI agents with support for both .NET and Python implementations.

It enables everything from simple chat agents to complex multi-agent workflows using graph-based orchestration.

Migrating from Semantic Kernel/AutoGen to Agent Framework:
