In my previous article (Make FetchXML Liquid Template Tag reusable), I have explained how to reuse fetchxml liquid template tag using a Web Template approach.

Following are the high level steps required:

  • In the Web Page, use the {% include %} to refer the Fetch Offers Web Template created in the above step.
  • If you are not getting the records even after making the above configurations as shown below, the chances are that you have not defined the Table Permissions for Offers table.

Lets see how to fix the issue by providing required Table Permissions.

Provide Table Permissions:

To render Offers records, we need to add Table Permissions for Offers table as shown below.

  • Go to Power Pages Management app.
  • Click on Table Permissions > New
  • Provide Table Name, Privileges and Save.
  • Next add the Web Roles.
  • Save, Sync and Preview the Website. You should see the Offers rendered.
